This was our May book club selection. I had not ever read any Michael Crichton books and really enjoyed this. It was such an easy read and I finished it in about 2 weeks. Not bad at all. This is the story of Charles Hunter, a privateer (aka pirate), who assembles a great crew to capture an amazing bounty. It doesn't take long for the action to begin and Crichton does not disappoint with his plot twists and turns. If you like pirates this will be a great read. Let's face it pirates are almost as fun as reading about vampires. ;)
